As we move into 2026, we want to share what’s ahead for the 431 Exchange — and invite you to continue building this work with us.
Our 2026 Fundraising Goal: $200,000
This year, our goal is to raise $200,000 in support of adult learners and the broader mission of the 431 Exchange.
Reaching this goal will allow us to deepen and expand the work you’ve helped make possible — supporting more scholars, strengthening long-term pathways to completion, and advancing the national conversation about adult access to education.
What This Will Make Possible
At a high level, this funding will translate into:
More scholarships granted to adult learners pursuing degrees, certifications, and career advancement
More continuing LIFT scholarships for our growing family of scholars already on their educational journeys
Continued investment in our advocacy and storytelling work — including our book, documentary, television projects, social media, and research — all focused on advancing a clearer, more truthful narrative about what access to education makes possible for adults, families, and communities
Together, these efforts reinforce a simple but powerful idea: that continuing access to education is essential for adults to pursue their goals, strengthen their families, and contribute fully to society.
Scholarship Applications Are Now Open
We’re also excited to share that our 2026 Scholarship application portal is now open.
Applications will be accepted for the first 100 completed, eligible applicants,
or until February 15, whichever comes first.
