OUR MULTI-GENERATIONAL LEGACY

Adult Education & Social Justice in Louisiana

New Orleans, 1965–1972

The Adult Education Center provided innovative vocational training to 431 inspirational women, who went on become the first Black secretaries to integrate the multinational corporations and local businesses of the city.
