With standing room only, on a recent hot July Monday morning, the ribbon cutting and dedication of the Dr. Alice R. Geoffray School Building took place with guests from all different walks of life cheering on the event. Whether representing the NOLA Public Schools, the Recovery School District, the New Orleans Career Center, civic leaders, dignitaries, former students, colleagues, or members of the Geoffray Family, none could have been happier than to celebrate the school building now carrying Dr. Alice Geoffray's name, history, and impact!
