From Opportunity to Achievement: Our Newest 431 Exchange Graduates

Degrees earned. Futures in motion.

When the women of the Adult Education Center crossed the graduation stage during the civil rights era, they were doing more than earning diplomas. They were opening doors—to new careers, greater opportunity, and brighter futures for the generations that would follow.

Today, that legacy continues.

Between December 2025 and May 2026, thirteen 431 Exchange scholars completed degrees, certifications, and professional credentials that will help shape the next chapter of their lives. Their accomplishments span fields as varied as business, marketing, software development, the arts, science, and public service. They graduated from institutions across Louisiana and the nation, including Howard University, Columbia University, Loyola University New Orleans, Dillard University, the University of New Orleans, and Northwestern State University.

While each scholar followed a different path, they share a common commitment to growth, perseverance, and the belief that education can create new possibilities—not only for themselves, but for their families and communities as well.

At the 431 Exchange, we often say that a scholarship is only the beginning of a relationship. Our scholars become part of a community that celebrates achievement, encourages growth, and remains invested in their success long after graduation day.

We congratulate these thirteen graduates on reaching this important milestone and look forward to seeing the impact they will make in the years ahead.

Please join us in celebrating our newest class of 431 Exchange Graduates!
