The Artist and the Artwork

Meet artist Carol Ordemann at our “Culture for a Cause” event. Carol is a Dallas-based abstract artist with New Orleans roots. Her work, which has been featured in galleries and special exhibitions across the country, is notable for its energy and vibrant colors.

All pieces are painted on gallery-wrapped canvas. The majority of the paintings are acrylic-based, with some including oil/acrylics, inks, collage, graphite pencils and mixed media. The artist turns the canvas regularly while painting and invites the collector to hang it as it suits their viewing pleasure. The artist signs her name on the back of the canvas so that it can be hung in any direction.

The artwork, which would sell for substantially more in galleries, can be yours at very special prices and will be online and on display at The Cultured Cup. Those in the DFW area can pick up artwork on the day of the event. 100% of the proceeds from purchases of these colorful, magical pieces will go into The 431 Exchange’s Scholarship Fund.

Brighten up your world and the future of adults ages 18 and over who just need a hand-up!
